In high school(!!), I started working on a fantasy/western story about two brothers who wind up tied up in a feud between three gods, all while the political state of their country collapses and descends into war. It’s called Les Poissons, and now and then, I still work on it a little. I still think it’s a kinda neat story, but more than that I still like the ‘natural’ forms of the gods, which is what I’m uploading.
The first one was mine, and the first real drawing of them; the second is by Naomi Chen (GunnerRomantic), the third by Jessica Tanguay (skippymoosh), and the final by Jenna Chew (jennadelle). I don’t know exactly how old these are, but I think the most recent was from three years ago, and then it just goes back from there, so these are not necessarily representative of the current work these artists do. I feel lucky to have received work from these lovely people, so if they come across this post… thanks again!

I am working on an illustration to turn into a print, and for some reason I decided having a big dead deer head right up front was a great idea.
Because that’s what people wanna hang on their walls. For sure.

I finished my Crayon Crunch for this month. I got Kristenplescow’s character, Schaden.

I threw this together in like, two hours this morning, in hopes that the band would see it if I posted it on their Reddit AMA?
I doubt they will, but uh, it actually didn’t turn out too bad.

I managed to finagle a chance to go see Mistaken for Strangers, and good god, I am in love with the entire Berninger family, what a perfect fucking group of people.
The rest of the band is amazing, of course, but they are really not what the film was about.
Good job Tom, you made a fun movie.
I am almost disappointed in myself for being such a fan of actual human beings, because projecting personalities onto them is inevitable, but… Man, it’s not like they know or care.
I can’t tell if I love or hate dreams about my teeth falling out.
They were four of my molars; they felt loose, wiggly, and I just pushed them free with my tongue, that all-too-familiar pulling at my gums as the last fragments gave out. I held those big teeth in my hands, my mother looking annoyed, and I thought, “Good. I will have a better grip now.” Like hooks, the rest of my teeth now felt too big in my mouth, and I couldn’t help but grin, to feel the air cool on my freshly blank gums.

Not so much bragging as foreshadowing. Goreshadowing. Relationships are terrible, don’t do them. I am just a huge idiot that can never say no, no matter how bad the idea is. And then they take me to bank, and convert to Mormonism. I got stories, let me tell you.

I think I may be engaging in my weirdest courtship dance yet, which is saying a lot, because my last courtship basically consisted of me going to bed alone and waking up with a married woman naked next to me, on the regular.
